Kinesio® ScissorsSCISSORS

Any practitioner who has used Kinesio® Tex Tape extensively will know how important a good pair of scissors is.

For the most part any old pair of scissors just won't ‘cut it' when it comes to fan strips, rounding corners neatly or having a pair of scissors that doesn't attract the adhesive as normal scissors can do.

The specially coated blades ensure that the adhesive residue does not stick and significantly reduces time spent cleaning

Lymphoedema and Chronic Swelling ManualThis chronic disease is known to affect more than 12 million men, women, and children worldwide, affects any part of the body, and is why the treatment of this condition is on the mind of every health care professional.

With the introduction of our unique lymphoedema techniques, Kinesio® Taping is sweeping the world as an effective and exciting modality that compliments other "standard" lymphoedema treatments. Kinesio® Taping for Lymphoedema and Chronic Swelling will show you step-by-step, easy-to-read, full colour instruction of over 108 common and not-so-common applications associated with lymphoedema, chronic swelling, and scar management.

Lymphatic build-up is caused due to a disruption in the lymphatic system, resulting in obstructed or restricted lymphatic flow, chronic swelling, and pain. Our muscles help us move and also help control the venous circulation and lymph flow. By utilising our unique method and applying the Kinesio® Tex Tape directly to the skin, the Kinesio® Taping Method can assist in the movement of muscles, repositioning of joints, alleviation of pain, but most importantly assist in the "lifting or creation of space" within the superficial skin and decreasing pressure while opening initial lymphatics. The effect of Kinesio® Taping on muscle also improves the efficiency of the deeper lymphatics by allowing maximum contraction and relaxation of a muscle.

Kinesio® Taping for Lymphoedema and Chronic Swelling is dedicated to those with lymphoedmea, those who are at risk, and to those devoted medical professionals who help them live their lives.
